Whether you are dealing with pain, dysfunction, or simply not performing at your best, Victory Chiropractic and Performance offers an integrative approach to provide our patients with the care they need to quickly relieve their pain, help them move better, and improve performance in their lives. We are dedicated to finding you a solution to your back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, and more.

At Victory Chiropractic and Performance we only implement research-based chiropractic techniques. Our clinical focus is on first educating the patients on causes of dysfunction, restoring and improving tissue functionality, and prevention of injury or re-injury.

How do we achieve these consistently successful outcomes of noticeable relief and functional joint mobility? Our evidence-based chiropractic manipulations, massage therapy expertise, and Active Release Techniques are guided by thorough diagnostics before force is applied. During our informative diagnostic process, you will gain clear insight into the cause of your concerns and learn all about the best chiropractic techniques and Myofascial Release interventions we can incorporate into your healing plan.

After isolating the issue(s), there will be a series of chiropractic manipulations consisting of Diversified technique and Flexion-Distraction. The purpose of the chiropractic manipulation, aka “adjustment”, is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into the joints that have become hypomobile, or restricted in their movement as a result of a tissue injury or poor posture. In cases of excessive muscle tightness or muscular impingements that can limit range, cause pain, or reduce function, a targeted Myofascial Release strategy can harmonize well with targeted manipulation techniques to soften muscular tension and restore joint performance.

Through this balanced approach to resolve blockages, tightness, and other joint restrictions, our immersive care can reduce pain, relax muscle spasms, reduce vasoconstriction, and prevent joint degeneration long after treatment is complete.

Services

  • The Kinesio Rock Taping Method is applied over muscles to reduce pain and inflammation, relax overused or tired muscles, and support muscles in movement on a 24-hour-a-day basis. The taping is non-restrictive and allows for full range of motion and is used to treat anything from headaches to foot problems and is commonly used to assist athletes. It is made of over 90% high grade cotton so it is comfortable, breathable and mimics the flexibility of human skin and muscles. When applied over a stretched muscle, RockTape lifts the skin, accelerating blood flow to increase the amount of oxygen available to the muscles, which reduces fatigue It is also quite durable and comfortable enough to be left on for 3 to 5 days per application and used on many athletes worldwide.

  • Active Release Technique (ART) is nationally recognized as the gold standard in soft tissue therapy and used in sports organizations such as NFL, NBA, and many more. ART is applied by hand using a specific pressure and tension on the muscle involved while moving the muscle underneath the contact from a shortened to elongated position to break up adhesions. Adhesions are dense collections of scar tissue formed from muscle injury that can cause pain, decreased range of motion, and nerve entrapment causing numbness and tingling. ART is a quick and efficient method of removing scar tissue to improve performance by increasing range of motion, strength, and improved circulation which optimizes healing. This is usually done in conjunction with the chiropractic manipulation.

  • Neuro Kinetic Therapy (NKT) is a hands-on technique that allows the practitioner to bring the programming of the neurological system together with the movement capability of the body. It is based on observations that certain body parts compensate for other weaker body parts. Injured muscles can test weak on a muscle test while muscles in another area of the body become forced to work overtime and compensate for their weakness. NKT muscle testing is efficient in helping to reveal dysfunctional movement patterns and imbalances that are contributing to pain or postural abnormalities. This may be done in conjunction with the chiropractic manipulation when a patient is not in acute pain.

  • Functional rehab exercises are custom tailored to each patient’s individual conditions and specific diagnoses with the goal of improving performance and mobility. They are especially useful in addressing compensations identified by a thorough evaluation and movement assessment to improve athletic performance and less pain with regular activities of daily living. Many of these exercises are given to be performed at home to help improve the effectiveness of your chiropractic care.

  • Chiropractic is a Greek word meaning done by hand. It’s a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. It is widely recognized as one of the safest and most effective ways to maintain health and functionality in the body. Chiropractic services are most often used to diagnose and treat a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, TMJ, ankle sprains, sciatica, shoulder impingements, and more!

Our Healing Method

After our sports chiropractor identifies the source of your nerve, joint, or muscular issues, we’ll walk you through our most effective techniques in detail. For an array of muscular, nerve, and mobility issues, gentle chiropractic manipulation is a great place to begin. Our restorative services can release stubborn muscles, stimulate your nervous system, and even improve immune function for full-body wellness that extends beyond the specific treatment site. If the thought of chiropractic manipulation seems intimidating, you’ll find that our steady hands and informative guidance alleviates the tension with every service!

We also offer a range of Myofascial Release and Active Release Techniques involving precise manipulation and movement of your body’s soft tissues. Capable of treating joint, nerve, and muscular issues, our techniques are proven to:

  • Damaged muscles and joint tissues lead to scar formation that can limit joint mobility, impinge nerves, and impede blood flow. Our skilled chiropractic team and massage therapists combine proven interventions like Myofascial Release and Active Release Techniques to loosen these rigid tissues, providing instant relief from blockages and impingements.

  • Once the soft tissues are mobilized, your body begins the healing process. The area is flooded with a fresh supply of blood and oxygen for progressive restoration and a return to previous levels of function.

  • Due to the improved blood flow and enhanced mobility, the connective tissues surrounding your joints are protected from further damage. The treatment area receives more nutrients, and consistent oxygen levels, and thanks to your newfound mobility, you can begin strength training to further enhance the long-term health benefits.
